I have started a bazillion and one projects in the last year. Now that I'm **this close** to having my free time back, I did a little pre-organizing.
I love these giant 16oz salad boxes. I have the bulk of my yarn stash in them. I had several laying around, so I packed up all the WIPs that I had jumbled in a pile on my corner of the couch.
OK, not *all* of them. Hemlock
is on my craft table waiting for his MF buttons. I want to wear that sucker SO BAD. And Golden
is still tucked in the corner of the couch waiting for me to start her sleeves.
I have been getting out and about this summer ... a little ... today we visited the Asian Art Museum
(it's $5/each after 5pm on Thursdays and free coat check!) to see part of the Larry Ellison collection
on display. It's amazing.
One panel featured an amazing peacock (one of my obsessions
). I can't get over every tiny brushstroke of every single feather. The detail is beyond belief.
The Asian Art Museum is amazing ... but I can't mention it without saying that I loved it better when it was the dark, moist, overbearing main library.
