Clown Sweater For A Mini Monkey

Yes, it's as terrifyingly adorable as you'd imagine.

The monkey for which the sweater is being made.

The sweater which is being replicated mini-sized.

I'm doing this full-on intarsia for extra mad skillz pointz. This is actually face #3 ... and I'm not 100% happy with the nose shape, so I'll be redoing everything from the mouth up ... so we'll call that one 3.5.

I'll keep you updated.

That's looking good. I was really looking forward to whatever you came up with after I saw your post about making the sweater. Also, i'm totally jealous that they sent you a Timmy! Although I can't imagine trying to make a monkey-sized sweater without him.

Can't wait to see more!!

Jenni ... I tried to start w/o a Timmy and quickly realized there was NO WAY I could do it with their instructions. I'm just too much of a visual/spacial person. Even with a Timmy, my first sweater looked like it was 3 times too big. :)

I'll bet the charts for this are great, too. What an image to have burned into your mind. The sleeves: novelty yarn or crazy loop stitch? Can't wait to find out. I hope it's as much fun being a member of the costuming corps as it looks.

Kelly ... The charts are kind of terrifying. It's weird having your craft paper smiling at you manaically. At least the chart isn't in color. I'll keep you in the dark about my arm-hair stitch choice so you can enjoy the anticipation of the big reveal. ;)
