This is looking both awesome and awesomely frightening. If I had a problem with clowns, I would be under my desk right now!

That is so awesomely bad. However, the picture underneath it of WW's face is even better...lol!

On a monkey, it's going to be adorable. That there's a pattern for an adult size, is a bit horrifying.

Sonya ... I couldn't find a pattern for the adult size, or even another clown sweater at all (at least on the Googles). I'm getting pretty relentless pressure from one of my SnB group buddies for one, though. I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that the big one was bought in a thrift store on Valencia. Ha!

I think this is destined to be one of Timmy's favorites. What a brave monkey. Do you get to go to SDCC in July? A road trip ending in a big pile of people, geeky or otherwise, may be more fun in theory though. I'm looking forward to squealing at those sleeves.

Kelly ... I haven't been to a Comic-Con, although one could argue that San Francisco is one year-round ... with better costumes. Ha!

I agree with the above commenter, I couldn't handle seeing an adult size version of this design. It looks very good though!

Jessica ... I would be terrifying wouldn't it? Imagine getting hugged by a person wearing the sweater. Is that the ultimate *omgwtf* thing you can think of? I don't' think I could handle having that face pressed up against my front. Not for a second.

Why is it that all three of my "daughters" are so skilled that I will never have the slightest hope of ever catching up!

You just simply amaze me with what you have learned and accomplished in such a short time with the needles.

pam ... They don't call me Alice for nothing! You don't need this particular skill, though ... if you ever need a mini-clown sweater, just let me know. ;)

I was going to comment something similar to Sonia: on an adult looks really creepy but... awwww... the little one looks CUTE!!

I think the fact that this project transcends generational geekiness lines is freaky enough. Let alone the speed at which your brain can ferret these things out. You are full of surprises indeed. (By the way, thanks for the links in the first post. It really drove home how nerdy/tweaky/awesome this project is. Not that my kids GOT the bigger picture, but, hey, I tried.)

all i can say is that i agree 100% that this is creepy in adult size - also a bit creepy on the monkey, but understandable - like wearing a monkey on your sweater, but creepier. peace : )
