Peepshow

Look what people made with my patterns ...

Caroline made this classic Starling and lined it with a beautiful fabric she had left over from another sewing project (which must have been so cool).

I love how the cream will match anything, but the inside is packed with personality.  The pockets are wonderful and look perfectly sewn.

I wasn't surprised to learn that Diane, the maker of this Starling, is a mixed media collage artist.

There is black and white scalloped trim around the top, crocheted roses and leaves, and crocheted cherries.  Every bit of it is sparkling with beads and jewels.  I particularly love the large clusters of beads in the center of the roses.  Gorgeous!

Alice (another Alice, so cool!) made these Starlings for her kid's teachers. Isn't it neat how the three variegated yarns worked up differently?

The granny square inserts on the green bag are adorable.  She made the handles on that one thicker so she could stitch the edges together to make them round.  Smart and cute!

Alice's variegated yarn bag looks like faux-bois! I wish there were a way to plan that--it looks spectacular!

I love the bag lining. One of the things that stops me from making bags is that I feel like knit and crochet bags need linings, but I don't want to sew them in!
