Peepshow

Look what this person made with my pattern ...

Ok, I usually like to put three things in the Peepshow posts, but this one is so awesome, that I have to give it its own post.  Not that everyone else's projects aren't awesome, but if *I* made a Starling Handbag, I wouldn't want to be featured in a post with this one, because it's just ... well, here, see for yourself ...

Here's what she said about her creation:

"Here is a picture of a diaper bag I made with your Starling bag pattern.  I'm giving to a friend of mine for her baby shower gift.  She likes sock monkeys so I decided to go with that theme.  Thanks for posting your pattern, I've really enjoyed making your bag.  "

Holy moly, Tara, you rock!

Get all my hand sewing and crochet patterns on the free downloads page.

If you'd like to be featured in a future Peepshow, email me your project photo!

The awesome thing about reading this post was that I could only see the very top of the picture while reading the first paragraph... I was expecting a red and white striped bag... whoop de do... and then I scrolled down and my jaw dropped! That is hands down the CUTEST Starling EVER!!! I have a friend who is having a baby next month and she just might get a sock monkey themed present. :)

Do you think it'll be too much to use it as an everyday purse?

BTW, I just added you to my raverly friends, I hope you don't mind.

Oh my! What a good idea. I'd totally have another kid if it enabled me to tote one of these around. Okay, maybe that's a bit irresponsible, but the cutenss is messing with mind!

I just stumbled upon your site when I was looking for a tutorial for how to line a knitted bag. After browsing around a bit, I can't believe all the wonderful things you have posted and shared with others. I especially LOVE your wonderful free tutorials. They are super concise and gotta love the pics for visual learning. Please keep up all the great work! We all look forward to them!

I have to tell you that everyone was in awe at the baby shower and I continue to get stares and people approaching me when I carry it in public!

I love this! I am a knitter, not a crocheter but would so love to learn crochet just so I could make this.

Heidi Lusk ... It would be an easy project for a beginning crocheter if you even learn. Thanks for stopping by! :)
