Crafting In Public

Crafting In Public: Wednesday, October 20th from 5:30-8:30 PM

Hopefully it's nice enough to hold it in Yerba Buena Gardens (near the waterfall) otherwise we'll be a block away at The Grove cafe.  Either way, the adventurous ones in the bunch are planning to come in costume*.  Join us!

We do this the third Wednesday every month.

*My plan is to be a gnome.  Felt hat and mustache-beard.  It sounded HILL-arious when we planned it ... deep breath ... and hopefully it is! :)

I think I have enough felt to make several gnome-helmets.  I might make extras for anyone that wants to play along.  I've already promised to take pix.

I am totally in for the public humiliation! Making my gone costume tonight. Although, I have been itching to make a tutu so maybe that will be my costume instead

Nicole ... OK! I feel 100% better now. I'm always afraid I'll be the only goofball that shows up with something silly on. :)

Well, at the very least there will be two goofballs. I am bringing a friend with me, and am trying to get her to dress up too.

I'll bring my awesome beard along and wear that. I don't have the rest of my lumberjack costume any more, but the beard itself is silly enough on its own.

That sounds like a lot of fun! Of course, I'm over here in Boston, so I will be knitting in spirit!
