Don't you just love this poster? What a snazzy suit! I posted a
close up on Flickr. I spied it on our way to Kinokuniya in New York last weekend (excuse the window reflections). I was shocked when we got to Kinokuniya's Rockefeller Center store and found it CLOSED! There was no note on the door about moving or anything. So sad.
Instead, we decided to go to
Coliseum Books on Bryant Park ... which has been closed for over a year. Ack! As we were walking around Bryant Park, I got some
great lion photos at the library. Actually, I got lots of great architectural animal photos,
posted on Flickr, including a
secret owl that I didn't see until I looked at the photos on my computer.
Anyway ... as we were coming around the last corner of Bryant Park ... we discovered
Kinokuniya's NEW LOCATION. Whew! What would New York be without the Japanese book store?!?!
It's so much bigger. I remember when the Rockefeller Center's craft book section was four tiny shelves. Now it's a whole huge section downstairs. And their stationery and super-cool office supply section has EXPLODED! I'm so lucky that I had zero dollars to spend because it would have torn me to pieces to have to choose what to bring home with me.
