More Swatches

I'm still having fun making swatches from the patterns inCrochet Patterns Book 300.  This is my favorite (foot for scale).  I remember my mom making a white crochet cotton thread table topper in a similar pineapple pattern.  I like it super big like this.  I think it looks a little peacocky, too.

I'd like to make a light summer blanket for our bed in an open, lacy pattern.  Obviously not for *this* summer...

Lots of these patterns are in the running.

I like the second one the best... the first one definitely resembles a peacock! I seriously need to take a crochet class to learn to read these freakin patterns!!

Love that last one the best, I think. Or maybe the 2nd one. So hard to choose!

Those are great and I agree with Shannon and like the second one the best :)

Please please don't give me another case of Project-Starteritis! I've got about 20 things on the go at the moment and perhaps a "lacy cover" for our red L-shaped sofa wouldn't be the -best- idea right now ;)

Gorgeous work, as always, Alice!

if you keep making swatches, you just may end up with enough for a patchwork blanket this summer. :-)

I really like the second one - it seems less floppishy than the others - Is that a term?. I think it would look great.
