The new blog application is up and running! ! ! ! !
I've spent an unbelievable amount of time massaging* the info that I was able to get out of Blogger so I could import it into my database tables. I wish I'd kept track, but I'm guessing it was about 16 hours over the last two days.
I almost fell out of my chair when my 286 posts and 4246 comments imported ON THE FIRST TRY. How in the world I didn't make a mistake in all my copying and pasting adventures is a bona fide mystery.
I wish I didn't have to touch my mouse and keyboard for a week, because I'm *sick* of them. :)
*massaging sounds a lot better than "&#$%@ copying, &%@#$ pasting, and search and @&%#$ replacing all the &%@#$ crap that %#$@& blogger insists on %@&#$ spitting out with their template &@$%# tags."
