This is the blanket I made for my sister, Nancy, and her husband when they married over seven years ago. That sucker is huge! I made it long enough to hang over both sides of their king-sized bed. Thank you so much, Nanner, for taking the time to take these for me. I know you're busy-busy-busy.
I picked the Christmas Rose Square pattern from
300 crochet Stitches, page 75. I wanted it to be colorful but not overwhelming, so I chose a black for the lacy background and pastels for the flowers. I really love how it turned out.
In some of the pictures I can see that my colored yarn ends have wiggled out. Those darn ends! I can also see that the Red Heart yarn is showing it's age ... although that means they've actually been using it, right? :) And check out that funky corner join in the top left. Argh!
