Flower Purse - Update 7

Still just weaving in the bazillion ends.  I've been resisting the urge to calculate how many ends there are.  I think it's best that I don't know.  Ever.

I bought the book and I just love seeing/reading your blog. Do you think that there is anyway to adjust the flowers and make the purse smaller?

I totally hate weaving ends, so I do that as soon as I finish the motif or start a new color. So I don't have the titanic work to do at the end.
I can totally see how beutiful that purse is and can't wait to see the fabric you're using as lining.
By the way, thanks for dropping by!

It's beautiful! I kind of enjoy weaving in ends - I know, I'm strange! Can't wait to see it finished.

I had to weave in 2 ends for this cowl neck I made last week and I hated it. I can't imagine!

Your purse is turning out to be really lovely, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished project! Dealing with yarn ends is a pain, but most of the time you can work over them as you go (just hold the tail to the back of the work), minimizing the amount of weaving in you have to do at the end.

Nice to know someone else is weaving ends and dreading it. I am weaving ends for a blanket. I find a metal needle makes the weaving easier somehow. Will definately try crocheting over ends as I go next time, thanks Karen.

I have booklet"Macrame Purse Time" by Liz Miller, copyright Cordcraft Company, 1978. There is a purse called "Olivia" on the front cover. Does anyone know if Liz Miller is still amongst the living and available for contact to explain her instructions? Thank you Cynthia
