Flower Purse - Update 6

We've got handles!  We don't, however, have sunlight, so the picture is kinda crap.

I started the handles 4 times using different size hooks.  I just didn't think the 3.25 mm hook would work right.  I was wrong.  It's perfect.  I'm about half way done with them.

My day is going to involve sitting in a waiting room, so Mr. Hairy Flower Purse will be adjoining me to get some of his one million ends woven-in.

Wow, that looks gorgeous. I have that book...it's beautiful. But I haven't had the courage to work on the projects! After seeing you do it, I'm willing to give it a try!

I asked for this book for Christmas...because of you and the purse. It's all about the purse...lol. It looks really good and I can't wait to sit, stew, and try to figure out the pattern via pictures!
Thanks.

It looks fantastic! I know it's pretty big--it looks like it could be the perfect thing to take to farmer's markets to fill with fruit and a fresh baguette!

i have to echo the other wows - the purse is fabulous!

see, now if i were the one crocheting this (stoping to laugh at the thought of me crocheting anything other than a square or rectangle) i would snip all the stringy bits to the same length, & act as though i meant it to be pokey.

hurry & finish, so we can see it completed.

Wow! It seems to me that this has gone quickly! Of course I haven't been the one putting the long hours in! Can't wait to see it finally complete!

How gorgeous! I love this. I have too many projects I want to do and not enough time to knit. Ugh..

How did you gather the square flowers into the bag? I have been wondering and wondering since the first I saw your site and your current project.

Oh, it is looking great! I'm trying not to love it too much, as there's no way I would attempt something like that, but it's hard not to love it...
