There has been a lot of non-futuregirl craft excitement around here lately:
I'm A Winner, Part 2In December I won a drawing for a
giveaway on
Crafty Addictions. Her Esty shop, where she sells these pendants, is
Feminine Addictions. Her packaging is incredible. I'm a huge sucker for great packaging. I wore the necklace to dinner New Years Eve. I'm totally into geometric,
Middle Eastern tile, so this pendant is perfect. Thank you, Roxanne!
Mini Sweater Ornament TutorialI tested Marci Sender's
mini sweater ornament tutorial this week and it's super easy and super cute. They only take about 10-15 minutes to make. If a girl were to start making tiny sweaters *now*, then she'd have plenty for gifts and swaps next year ... hmmm. ;)
Free Robot Appliqué PatternDot emailed to tell me about her
free robot pattern to use as an appliqué. It's so super cute and would be so easy to customize with beads and buttons for knobs and lights. On her blog,
Dabbled, Dot describes her process from
idea to
plan to
finish. It's funny that Dot named the robot Destructo because that was my robot name at a former job. My robot motto was, "I only use my Evil powers for Good."
You Make My DayAnne awarded me the "You make my day award." I'm supposed to pick ten of you ... but I totally can't do it. Every single one of you, even the lurkers, make my day *every* day. Part of the way I try to thank you (since I can't always reply to everyone) is my "Recent Commenters" list on the right sidebar of the home page. Here I link to everyone that left a comment on my last 10 posts. You guys are rock stars! Thank you!
