It's so nice to find someone that knows how to draw patterns.
I'm seriously thinking about this very colorful tote... it may be the perfect recipe in between dissertation writing breaks. :)

mafe ... It's a great project to fit into small time spaces. Maybe you could reward yourself with a little crochet if you hit your writing goal for the day. :)

Attaching the first half-hex was a skirmish; I fought placing 2 "corner" groups of hdc's together. I summoned your spirit animal because mine ran away and crocheted as I was told. Once I could see/feel how it worked, the other three were easy. I'm so glad you designed the half-hex fill-in. It looks much better than without them.
I keep learning to trust the chart. Well, at least your charts. Tomorrow!

Kelly ... I considered mentioning that it's a little "unnatural" to put two corner groups next to each other, but I thought it would confuse more people than it would help. Glad to know you'll follow me even when the going gets rough. ;)

You are the "Crochet Queen!! And, you even made me a believer in charts- I never really "got" them before. But, like Kelly said-the putting of the two corner groups of hdc's together had me worrying until I looked down at the chart and said- yes, she really Did say to do that. So,...great idea, great video, wonderful chart, all working together to teach us what to do....You Rock!!! Thanks!

Holli ... So glad the chart had my back! :) Thanks for giving charts a try even though they weren't your thing.
