Supercute Sea Creature Patterns & Instructions

I'm so excited about completing another pattern, which you can now get on the free downloads page. I designed the octopus in April, and he languished on my craft table since then.  Just last week, I decided to re-do my starfish pattern and add a jellyfish and fish to the group.

They are all easy-to-make and perfect for customizing.  There's lots of room for experimenting with color combinations and embellishments.  I think an all-white set would be really cool, too.  There are a couple extra photos in the Futuregirl Supercute Sea Creature Flickr group.

Each creature is between 3 and 4 inches tall and wide, which makes them the perfect size for ornaments, package tags, or clip-ons for backpacks.

I agree with the "supercute sea creature"! This is the first time I'm appreciating an octopus figure, honest!

Oh, they're great! I love that you can embellish them or just leave them as is. I like your idea of all white, how about with glass seed beads and crystals...?!

Awesome cute as always!
I'd love another post on how you did the photography. I just love the way you photograph your creatures (and, well, all your photographs).

I have always enjoyed sea-critters and really like yours. They are cute, but, not kidish cute (hope you know what I mean by that). As always you are so fun to read and the pictures are great!

I love the octopus!! There has been a bit of an octopi vibe going on at my blog lately . . . perhaps it's time for me to make a super cool octopus foam stamp? Hmmm . . . I've been inspired!

You know, my mom could just kill you right now! That octopus is so cute and looks so easy too. She just finished octopi #98 something yesterday. I think she is juat about done. We will be posting very soon.

Great felt sea creatures. I am trying my hand at some felt animals. Hope mine come out as nice.

Thanks a million for this pattern. I was looking for something to make for a new baby and I've made up a set of these and I'm going to attach them to a mobile. The Daddy is a fisherman and a deep sea sailor so I'm hoping they'll go down well!

Where is the actual pattern for the octopus? Is there a pattern to print out to cut the felt to match? Thanks!!!
