Knitting Outside

It's been nice enough to sit outside and do some knitting lately.  One of my favorite things to do.  It's extra nice that our building has a secluded back yard that no one but me ever uses.  I can sit out there on my blanket and listen to the birds chirping.

Love it! My legs always fall asleep when I sit on the ground, I'm constantly trying to get comfortable.

Donna ... Me, too. I kept changing between crossed legs and straight legs. Body's getting old. ;)

I love that particular shade of green!
And you are incredibly organized in your crafting, if the first photo is anything to go by. My workspace normally looks like a teenager's bedroom.

I love to work outside when it's pretty but I have to have a chair. just can't get up and down like I use to. Sometimes I like to sit on the porch and work when it's misting rain. I don't know why but it really relaxes me.

Are those knitpicks acrylic needles? I could be wrong, but if they are, what is your review of them?

p.s. the sweater looks great so far, can't wait to see it finished.

Kaity ... I've made a note to post a review of them for you. Just so you know, I love them. :)

Your sweater is coming along nicely! I like to sit outside and knit, too. Here in CA we've jumped from rainy to full summer so missed my spring weather this year. I'm still plugging along on my second purple sweater. (see www.thepurplesweater.com for the loooong story about that!) Happy Mother's Day!

I really like that pattern - and, like the others, that green.
