New Notebook

My craft notebook was commandeered for moving duty.  All our notes and lists and whatnot used up a bunch of pages.  I ventured over to Borders to see if they had any more notebooks the same size because I can use my fancy page moving technique to keep all my crafty stuff together as long as the paper and binding are the same.

I must admit, I find a lot of their Paperchase designs super cute, but I resisted the new stuff that's out and checked the clearance table.  Holy shit!  I'm glad I did!

This notebook has twice as much paper as their normal A5 wire-o notebooks ...

... and it has four clear plastic dividers!!!  Love it!

And there's a pocket in the back cover.

I think I might do my page moving trick on the cute deer covers from the last note book and put them on this big one.  I'm just not feeling the dark green.  But, for $6 I'm thinking of going back for more!  Although, I hope this time I don't crush my toe into the curb on the way over there.

Hi, my name is Carmen, and I am addicted to brand new notebooks and various other office supplies. It has been four hours since I was last in an office supply store. "Hi, Carmen!". (this ended up more like being in a confessional than a support group, which was my original intention, haha!)

Great new notebook! Makes me want one, too. :)

"Hi, Carmen!" ... Ha! Me, too! I went last night to see if they had anymore and they were SOLD OUT! Guess I'm not the only one to recognize a good deal. :)

Poor toe! I do that all the time. There is always a toe on my foot some color of purple. Hope you feel better soon.

Bonnita ... Thanks! I'm at least trying to get sympathy/gross out fun out of the situation. :)

That's a cute notebook, I'll have to check out the Borders here and see if they have the same sale going.
Will have to try your paper trick too, thanks :)

Laura ... Even if they don't have this particular design, I'm sure you'll find the notebook with a cute cover you'd like. I always have to restrain myself from just loading all their notebooks into my arms when I'm there. :)

OUch! Well at least it was a random thing. I bump into stuff in the house all the time. YOu know...stuff that's been in the same exact place for years yet someone I bump into them. Yep, I am THAT coordinated.

And can you tell I'm playing catch up on my blog reading?

Gah, we don't have a Borders locally, and the Barnes & Noble doesn't seem to carry that brand, though they do have some cute ones. I love that back pocket and the dividers! I may poke around on Google and see if I can find them.

I wonder how hard it would be to find a strong enough glue to *make* an envelope like that? Maybe your page-moving technique would work on a manilla envelope, too... seems like it would support some weight...

Dindrane ... Paperchase is Border's own line, I think. I sewed some vinyl pockets into my notebooks ... http://www.futuregirl.com/craft_blog/2008/7/sewn-in-vinyl-pocket-for-a-notebook.aspx
