In a moment of frustration with the color knitting, I realized that the crazy phone cozy would be easier (so much easier!)  and probably a lot sturdier in crochet.  

But once I got this far, I realized that the whole point of the crazy phone cozy was that I was practicing knitting color stripes.  So I switched back.
