Cactus Update - August
Here is a much-requested update on my tiny cactus patch. I'm down to 65 of the original 85. They are still growing, ever so slowly. They are seriously SO SMALL.

It's good that they grow slowly, more time to enjoy how tiny and cute they are.

They are so cute! They may be tiny, but they have so much personality, especially the tall ones hanging out in the corner in the last picture.

I tried growing cactuses from seeds, started with thirty. Two months ago I accidently dumped the three plants that had sprouted into my knitting so they all had to be vacuumed up :(
Cut to me now, two months after starting -another- thirty and I think I may have ONE plant, but I'm not sure :\

Sorry. That was quite selfish! :( I meant to add...(but got distracted)
I -love- the updates of your cactus babies, they are, indeed, very cute.
Have you named them (or any of them) yet?

Blue ... Well, hang in there. Maybe that *one* is the best one! I haven't named any of mine yet.
3rdEyeMuse ... The container is small. A 7" X 4.5". These things are TINY.

Jackie ... You could always try, even if you don't live in a sunny place. Although, I suggest buying a big one at the plant store. ;)
