That sounds (and looks) so lovely! I'll bet the temperature is nice. Its been too hot here to do anything outside! Your acrobat monkey looks familiar to me. Perhaps I saw him in a dream. I love the dragons on the side. I can't wait to see the final product! :D

Beginners question: Can you explain how one gets a design from a book (or paper) onto the thin cloth (not sure what it is called) that you are embroidering on to? Once you are done, you remove the white fabric?? Thanks very much!

love the design! what park in philly? i was just at Washington Square Park this week and laughed when i saw your pics - the benches look the same! then again, it *is* a park ... lol :)

ThePhantomMoon ... How funny! It *is* Washington Square Park. That's our favorite. Rittenhouse is too overrun with smokers, crazy people, and whatnot. Although we did get yelled at for some time by a crazy dude yesterday. Luckily he eventually walked away. :)
