Around the time I posted the foundation single crochet tutorial, some coworkers went to my blog for the first time.  One of them commented that instead of calling my blog "futuregirl" I should call it "Alice's Fingers In HD Blog."  Ha!  I guess when you have no idea what the fingers are doing, you'd focus on them instead of the crochet they are holding.

I've had a little time this morning to edit the photos.  I'm so happy about how my fingers look in this one.  I did my nails right before I took all the pictures.

I wish I'd thought about it before I took the photos for the foundation single crochet tutorial, because my week-old fingernail polish and dry cuticles look *so bad* in macro.

I considered reshooting the whole thing, but once you spend a couple hours taking photos, the last thing you want to do it take those photos *again*. Ugh.

I just had a funny idea ... I could paint little arrows on my fingernails so I could use them to point to things and you'd know  exactly where I was pointing.  Ha!  Of course, it would be confusing in the photos where I wasn't pointing at anything, but there'd still be arrows all over the place.  Hmmm ...
