Dice Buttons

I wore three of the adorable dice buttons today.  I don't wear pins nearly enough.  It made my tired, old brown shirt feel like a brand new outfit.  That's probably something all you girly-girls already know ... the power of accessories.

Perhaps some crocheted pretties could perk up the rest of my wardrobe.  Maybe one of these, or a handful of these, or a pair of these?

Those are really cute buttons! It works well with any plain shirts. I think I prefer those than brooches. I always have this thing for 1" badges.

They look totally cute, worn in a group like that. I'm always scared of wearing buttons in case they leave pin marks/holes in the fabric of my clothes, but maybe I'm being overly cautious... How does your shirt look after removing the pins?

Oh buttons - good idea. I've been working on accessorizing more. I tried the floty scarf thing for a day; then I realized that the only other women I saw wearing floaty scarves were much older...and clearly trying to hide their aging neck. I took my scarf off that afternoon!

How adorable are you? And how did they get rounded square buttons? So completely cool.

Ooh, I've got an equally tired, brown shirt on today. Amazing what three little buttons can do!

The link to the crocheted button brooches -- thank you! They're beautiful.

I'm not sure which I like more - the added sparkle from the dice ... or your happy expression!

The dice buttons are tres cool! I found the site with the headband before and it is so easy to make and so cute! I had to size it down for my tiny head, but that is a separate issue... :) I will definitely be making some of those button flowers - so sweet! Thanks, Alice!

Hello Alice,
No relation with your buttons (really nice and fresh), but I remember you love Peacocks... and my man have shot some this afternoon in Toulouse, so I thought you would like to see them : http://www.flickr.com/photos/indianadinos/3504935825/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/indianadinos/3504935825/ (don't you find we can think he had wool instead of feathers on the head?).
Have a nice day.

The crocheted sweater above is *so* lovely! The color and the style are really neutral and modern--I'd grab it right off the rack if I saw it in a shop.

& the dice buttons are too cute--I like how you wore 3 together--I need to do that more with my own pins.

Ambika ... I thought to group these pins because they came together, but it's brilliant to group other pins, too! Thanks for the idea. :)
