Crafty Stuff From All Over

How To Be A Pro Craft Blogger
If you've ever thought about starting your own craft blog or you're looking for ways to keep yourself (or your readers) excited about your current blog, now's your chance to get some expert help!  Diane at CraftyPod just published an eBook named Making a Great Blog: A Guide For Creative People.

Diane is the goods when it comes to writing a great craft blog herself, so she's the perfect person to give advice on the subject.  Plus it comes with worksheets, and who doesn't love filling out worksheets?!

Chemical Heritage Foundation
I've passed by this place more times that I can count, and every time I thought to myself, "What the heck is the Chemical Heritage Foundation?"  Well, now I know (click through to learn yourself ...).

Last week they sent me a nice, personal email telling me about a Hyperbolic Crochet event they are hosting as a part of May's First Friday  (May 1st).

Learn about hyperbolic curves and how scientists use models to visualize the molecular world.  Hands on demonstrations allow you to participate ... hooks and yarn provided!

New Futuregirl Domain Host
We've moved my site and stuff over to a new host.  It went 100% more smoothly than I anticipated, although I just today realized our new fancy image path thing-a-ma-gig broke the images in my feed (rss and email).  I'll be patching that up soon.  FIXED!  Let me know if you see anything else out of whack.

I think the hyperbolic crochet workshop sounds incredibly fun. I wish I lived closer!! I hope there is a post about it...
