When I started creating patterns for download, I had the impression that EVERYONE was on Flickr. Boy was I wrong.
All my patterns have notes (which I plan to change) asking people to upload photos to Flickr and add them to my groups. But I think I'm missing out on some serious project photo goodness because people think. "Flickr-what?"
Or maybe they just don't want to create another account on yet another site. I totally understand that! Who needs more stuff to manage?
Lately, Paul of
Dudecraft has been
posting reader-creations on his blog, and I realized that I made a big mistake in only asking people to post to the Flickr groups. I should have also asked you to send me the photos so I could post them on my blog.
So, here is me asking ...
Send me your futuregirl project photos! And, for giggles (or jaw drops), here are the current download totals for my free patterns:
5052 - Sigmund the Octopus
5017 - Sasha the Seahorse
4913 - Supercute Sea Creatures
5810 - Starling Handbag
Pretty amazing, isn't it?! Sure, not everyone who downloaded the pattern has made something, but I suspect there are A LOT of photos floating around out there that I just gotta see!
