Comment Spam Overload

Holy smokes!

I just deleted over 600 spam comments.  I've turned commenting off until I can put a check in place that keeps comment spam from showing up and **MOST IMPORTANTLY** keeps comment spam from getting emailed to you if you've subscribed to subsequent comments on a post.

My most sincere apologies if you were emailed comment spam.

It breaks my heart that my lovely commenters might be getting big, scary, ugly spam from my site.  So sad. :(

As soon as I finish the changes that will keep the evil spammers from trying to sell us crap, I've got some crafting to share.

YAY!

Oh, and if you need to get in touch with me, email me. :)  My email address is on the top of the left column.  See it over there? Yep, that's the one.

Hi,
I love your creativity and your projects, i tried some of it and my friends went crazy. :) I used your beaded crochet bracelet but I used it as a strap for my watch :)
But I have a question and i really hope that you can help me.
can you tell me how to tie yarn ends especially after changing yarn colors. Please pretty please, I want to make a crochet bag with alternating colors but I am having a problem tying ends and making sure that it won't get loose along the way.
Thank you and hoping for a response.
God Speed and Bless you.

Rann May ... When changing colors, I tie the ends on the back side of the crochet in a square knot. I've never had a knot come loose. :)

600? Goodness. My blog gets a few spam and MLM comments a day. I have it set so that I have to approve all comments unless the person has a previously approved comments. It lets the few repeat visitors I have comment freely while keeping the spammers at bay. They do it to try and get "link juice" - link backs from a popular website like your blog actually help their search ranking.

p.s. glad the move went smoothly and glad to see you crafting again.
