Craft Identification FAIL

I don't feel like taking the time to actually submit it to fail blog.  No one but us would probably get it anyway ... right? ;)

And what the heck is "crochet net?"

I think they are calling the granny square pattern "net" because of the holes/spaces it creates. I went to the sight and clicked on a matching crochet pillow and it had the same basic description! (I also misread "homey" as "homely" the first time, haha!)

Hah, that's awesome. I've seen that mistake on so many sites. We need to start a campaign "Hook for crochet, two needles for knitting" or something.

You'd think they'd know better! It's like the food prep translations on the back of Asian grocery store products, those crack me up!

Anthropologie does this a lot. Sometimes I search "crochet" on their site and knit items come up. I've seen it the other way around, too.

Ah, Urban. You can kind of trust them to mess this up--and given that my boyfriend mixes up *sewing* and knitting, I can kind of see why!

Crochet net sounds like something they'd catch loads of fish with in the ocean.
