AntiCraft Super Star

Last night I met Renee Rigdon, one of the writers of the AntiCraft book.  She had a book signing in West Philly, so I drove over to say "hi."

It was great to finally meet her.  She also put me on the phone with Zabet Stewart, the other author of the book.  It was a star studded night!

Even though it sorta made me feel like a dork, I pulled out my camera to get a picture of us. Then, right before I left, someone I don't know asked me to sign their copy ... it was my first time signing a book!  And I even got to use Renee's fancy silver pen.  It was ridiculously fun.

I understand the dork factor. I spent the night at Hello Yarn's house and couldn't bring myself to pull out the camera...

I totally didn't mean *I* am a super star ... far from it. I'm the dork that sneaks her camera to the book signing, doesn't bring any stitching to work on, and laughs too loudly. :)

Woot!

The cool factor of this post is blinding.

Sounds like an amazing time :)

(And if we met, -I'd- be the dork with the camera asking for your autograph in -my- AntiCraft book LOL)

xoxo
