No matter how hard I try, I can't sweep real-life under the rug. April was super busy for me on the real-life front, and May is looking like it's going to be, too. That means I've had to make hard decisions on the crafting front, like not posting as much as I'd like, not responding to all of my comments, not commenting on your blogs as much as I want to, and even crafting less.
But more than ever, I appreciate the crafting community. So, to show my appreciation of your support, I picked a random commenter from April, LeeAnn of
Mint Basil, and I'm going to send her this handbag.
This was the first seamless crochet bag I designed and the first one I made. That was
almost a year ago! Right after this one, I made the green one with the owl that I use all the time. I tucked this one away for later, but never ended up using it. I'm very happy to be sending it to a good home. :)
I wish I could send every single one of you a thank you gift.
I appreciate your comments more than I can say. Especially on the
google eye post, you guys had me rolling! I also appreciate all of the knowledge and creativity you share on your blogs. I love being a part of this community!
I'm also happy about the incredible response to my octopus stuffie pattern. It's been less than two weeks and the
Octopus Flickr Group is already filling up with wonderful and unique octopi.
I have so many great things in the works ... but the works are going pretty slowly right now. I wish I had more to share with you and the time to share it.
