You can not defeat my embroidery kung fu

Thanks to an Amazon gift certificate, I am now the proud owner of this book.  It's so awesome!  It has a hidden spiral binding, so it'll lay flat.  The table of contents has little pictures of each stitch to help you pick where you want to go in the book. Yay!  The pictures and colors in this book are wonderful.  I can't wait to get started on my embroidery patch swap!

There is no way I can defeat anyone's embroidery kung fu...I just came back from the fabric store and was asking how I can blanket stitch felt polka dots to berets and the really nice lady who was helping me was dumbfounded that anyone who sews doesn't already know how to do it.

I don't deserve that book.

but I'm excited for you!!!!

I love the title of this post. Somehow, substituting 'knitting' doesn't sound as tough.
