The Living And The Dead is recommended

Here are a couple words about The Living And The Dead:  Amazing. Creepy. Uncomfortable. Weird. Wonderful.

The Director and DP did a Q&A after the movie.  We learned that the estate where they filmed was mostly unaltered from it's current state for the movie.  Everything about the movie was well done.

No, it's the Longleigh House, of which I can't find an image. Google, don't fail me now!

I just found the "Official" movie site which has great screen shots, although none of the iconic house.

I was just going off of the imdb site, which says the Longleigh House is the Tottenham House/Hawtrys School for boys, which I then read about here.

Well, yes, then. That is the house. Totally cool, yes?

Yes. Very cool. Except for making it into a golf links/spa/conference center. I was reading in some travel stories collection about a specific abandoned henequen plantation in the Yucatan (like this one), then I looked it up online and it had been restored as a high-class hotel/resort/spa. I felt sad.
