I was so engrossed in the visual beauty of
Invisible Waves* that I only noticed the gaping plot holes after it was over. I'm still recommending it, despite the crap plot, because it was so so beautifully shot. But, ugh, I'm in no hurry to visit Phuket or Hong Kong.
* The IMDb plot summary states, "After inadvertently killing his girlfriend ..." I'm not sure what movie they were watching, because the killing is anything but inadvertent.
