Henry Fool is highly recommended

Hal Hartley is one of my favorite directors.  I saw Henry Fool years ago, but we're seeing it's sequel, Fay Grim, on Saturday, so I thought I should watch it again.  I have the worst memory for actual story lines.  I remember thoughts, feelings, colors ... and sometimes lines (like "They're the donut people"), but sometimes the story lines get lost.

Parker Posey is incredible, as usual.  Andrew and I passed her in NY once.  She was walking her dog.  She must have seen the recognition in our eyes because she looked terrified that we were going to talk to her.  What's funny is I thought, "Hey, I know her." like she had been our waitress the night before or something.  Only after we passed did I realize she was Parker.  All the actors in this movie are wonderful, though.

I'm EXACTLY the same way about movies/plots/etc. One of my best friends in college would constantly be making references that I didn't get that turned out to be things like lines I'd given in a play only months before. Really. Pages I'd MEMORIZED and then wouldn't even have a sparkle of recognition about.

But I totally know about the moods, feelings, character characteristics...
